Sauk Rapids: If you’re an outdoors enthusiast, you’ll love what the City of Sauk Rapids has to offer. The City has a comprehensive park plan that will ensure that our natural resources will be preserved for future generations. There are over 20 beautiful City Parks with a variety of recreational options including playground equipment, splash pad, wading pool, picnic areas, walking trails, ice rinks, basketball courts, tennis courts, ball fields, and much more.
Sauk Rapids is also proud to be the home of the Benton County Historical Society and two major summer events: the Rapids River Food Fest and the Benton County Fair. Sauk Rapids also offers its residents and visitors a Farmer’s Market, which runs from early summer to early fall. In addition to summer fun the City of Sauk Rapids offers residents and visitors fun all year round with a Winter Parade of Lights and the Annual Open House held every fall at the Sauk Rapids Fire Hall.
